This summer I've had the chance to blow through several fabo books. Let's just say I have some extra time on my hands and have been surprised to find that I do in fact enjoy reading...a good book of course.

Here is a list of what I have read so far and would put my stamp of approval on.

The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is actually on its way to me so it will be the next to be read. I glad to have a good old summer reading list like the good ole school days.

As far as gifts for our cute sister missionaries, Rebecca had this great idea to send them our email chain that we have started lately so they can get caught up on our lives. It would be fun to print them off and put them on cute paper and make them a little book.

For food assignments, I will text you and let you know what to bring as well as the person you will need to bring a gift for. If you have any questions or ideas let me know. Love you all!

Good plan gang. I say recording of all us talking sounds hysterical.... if Emily could even understand it... chances are we'll all be talking and laughing that no one will be able to "decode us" I love it. I sent her a big thing of gumballs last week... that should keep her busy for a few weeks.

Annie you are missed! Just the other day me and Hailey were getting chic-fil-a and thinking of you. Wishing you could share the bounty with us. Yet, you were probably on a run through the streets of paris... thinking of this made me green with envy.

For Christmas we should all send Emily a Christmas Package. Here is what I'm thinking:

1- we each write a letter to put in.
2- a photo of us together at the Christmas party
3- some treats like delicious gluten-free brownies
4- something funny....a toss up between McCaye, a photo montage of Chad Cannon, or a voice recording of us talking to her.
5- a little christmas gift?
I think that would brighten the missionary's days. Just an idea to be thinking about!

The sisterhood reunited! I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I had last saturday! I love you all so much and it was so great to catch up with all of you! Well girlies, I am off to the nations capitol. I know I thought I wasn't going to be going, but funny thing I got two offers in one day. I am freaked out and excited because besides going to Hawaii with two of my friends, this is the first time I will be away from home for a long duration. AAHH!!! I will be working a the Health and Human Services public relations department. I hope it will be fun, and I know I am going to miss you all. I will give you all the details this weekend. I am starting to think we need to use this blog for more than just the fabulous birthday postings Annie is doing. I want to hear and see pictures of what is going on in all of your lives right now. Trust me I would much rather see you in person, but I know all of our lives are crazy right now. I know Summer is crazy so when you have a few minutes you ALL should post something. Our house is slowly coming to an end with all the remodeling, so as soon as we are all through I will plan a little party. It will probably be and end of Summer party by the time our house is finished. In the mean time let's do dinner! I'll try and get something together. I have some exciting news...Richie got home yesterday! Well, he actually flew into California last Wednesday and has been spending this last weekend there with all of his family since his parents are Mission Presidents in Oakland. I talked to him a couple of times on the phone while he was in Oakland, but yesterday I was able to actually see him! I met him at the airport yesterday afternoon, and then after he got settled at his sister's house, I took him to Dotties (mini golf) and Spoon Me. It is so good to have him home. He is still the same cute Richie that he was two years ago...maybe a little more grown up. That is what is going on in my life right now...now update me on all of you!

For those of you coming to sun valley there are a few things you need to know.

First, we are leaving tomorrow at 3 so be in slc and ready to party! We need to get on the road semi early so try your hardest to be ready. I checked the weather and its not looking too bright. Its going to be mid 60's with chances of showers. so bring some warm clothes. Also, pack in a duffle bag or something little. We are all smashing into my moms car and there is not going to be much room for anything besides us. It's going to be a tight squeeze. Bring a skirt so we can go to sacrament meeting on sunday and a swimsuit although I'm not sure if we will use the suit. Also bring any snack or food you can. That way we wont have to buy so many groceries...We will figure out gas and grocery money later. We will be back on monday no later than 7. I hope you are all as excited as I am! I can't wait for the fun times!!!

I was thinking about blessings in my life and one of the first things that came to mind was you girls. I am seriously overwhelmed with gratitude towards you. I love that we can go weeks without seeing or talking to one another, yet the second we get together it's as if we were never apart. I love how we can speak freely with one another and not feel embarrassed or judged. I love that we support one another and are there for one another. I love that we can help each other make rational decisions and not lose sight of the big picture. I love all of you so so so much! I don't know what I would do without all of you in my life. Each one of you has taught me something about life, and has helped me become who I am today. It's been a really hard year for me. I could not have made it through my trials with out you girls. hello girls...i'm pretty sure i just failed a final. seriously, i don't think i've ever done so badly on a test, except for the midterm i took in this class. oh well, it's over. anyway, i will hopefully be sending you all a formal invitation, but i just wanted to remind you guys that my junior recital is next saturday, may 3rd, at 5:00 in gardner hall. i hope you guys can come. i'm really nervous so if you guys have any sort of calming techniques let me know...breathing exercises, certain soothing foods...i'll do anything. anywho, i hope finals all went well with the byu girls and that all the u girls are surviving theirs.

Emily and I just got back yesterday from a road trip up to Montana to see Micah. By the way Emily, I found that talk online and I love it. I read it today at school. I've been in Arizona over the past few days with friends and its weird because the whole time I thought about you guys. I absolutely love the girls I was with, it not that. Le Croisant

I would like to announce that I have successfully taken a step in the right direction to fulfill my dream of becoming a chef. Yesterday I got a job with a catering company called Le Croisant. They are pretty prominent in Salt Lake. It was weird how I got the job because I wasn't really looking for anything. Last weekend at my cousins wedding dinner I met the owner of the company. We fell into conversation and he asked me if I would come into to meet with him to talk about a job. I said sure, we met on Thursday, and I officially start on the 24th of March. Now the next thing I have to do is go to culinary school. I can't believe I am going to be finally working in a kitchen!

A Fairy Tale

I just want to say that it has taken me about 20 minutes to figure this blog out. I have never done one before. This was the greatest idea Annie, thank you so much!!!!! I still don't understand what I am supposed to write on this, so pretty much it is just going to be a lot of sweet nothing! Well, I saw Enchanted last night, and I can't get the songs out of my head. It is driving me crazy, but I just love the movie! It seems like life could be so much easier if it was a fairy tale. All I would have to do is sing, fall out of a tree in to the arms of a handsome prince, and then be set for life. That doesn't seem too hard. Oh well, what would life be without an evil witch throwing poison apples at us? Soj, you look like you are having a blast. I hear you and Megan are the best of friends. Post more pictures! Annie, I am so proud of you. This is the coolest thing! I am really looking forward to reading everyones stories and looking at all of the pics.
This has been one of the best/craziest semesters. For example this is a play-by-play of my average day: wake up, go to a meeting, find out there are 10 new meetings for the week, go to class, another meeting, chi o odds and ends, work on elections stuff, meeting, homework, gym, hang out until 2, go to bed. My days are basically on repeat, so if you ever wonder what I'm doing there's a pretty good chance I'm in a meeting. I'm really glad I'm doing elections and chio VP, but those activities coupled with 17.5 credit hours is to much to handle sometimes.
I feel so lucky to have all of you as BF's, your friendships mean the world to me. I hope you all know that if you ever needed anything I'd be there for you.

Although I am quite computer illiterate - and this is a struggle to figure out, I'm so glad that we're doing this! Way better than the journal that is supposed to still be circulating with the sweatshirt (I hope that isn't sacreligious to say). I just think we'll keep this up longer.
It was good to see most of you over the weekend....I can't wait to hear how things progress with that rich boy Bec - I still vote you marry him just so you can travel the world. What a night to remember! Can you believe that this was just three years ago. It's crazy how fast time has flown by. Our lives have all taken so many different directions but every time we get together it's like we are still stealing bryan's car in the parking lot, or sluffing at Eli's house and driving Midas around all day long, or going up to secret lake. We have some of the best memories anyone could ever ask for. We are so lucky.
